3D printing (also known as additive manufacturing) is technology that not only is a great hobby but a powerful addition to the classroom and household alike.  From bringing history or literature to life or engaging students in STEM 3D printing is one of the most immersive technologies to tools available presently!

Come immerse yourself in the stimulating world of 3D printing.  In this one-day venture not only will you partake in the construction of your own 3D printer, you will get practical hands on training in the use of the software required to get your 3D printer running.

Each person who attends the workshop will assemble and take home with an Ender 3 Pro 3D printer along with a set of educational resources. The Ender 3 Pro is one of the most versatile, reliable, cost effective and upgradable machine in its price point.  Not to be outclassed on safety the Ender 3 Pro comes with one of the industry's most reliable power supplies from manufacture Meanwell.

Attendees should bring a laptop and a thirst for knowledge.

David Harmon, Greg Theron and Greg Fischer all have a personal passion for 3D printing and have supported Lethbridge Public School Division over the past two years implementing and supporting 3D printing in the classroom. These individuals prove to be active members of the maker community in which they offer support on many levels. These individuals bring a different perspective and experience to 3D printing.
