After a review and play of author Jane Felling's favourite math games for computational fluency, participants will learn all new:
1 - Ideas for advertising, planning, and conducting Family Math Nights. Participants will leave with the tools for conducting different types of math nights including: card math night, domino math night, amazing race style and many other theme ideas.
2 - Learn all new domino math games that can be used in your classroom math program and at a family math night.
3 - Place Value Games using number lines, rulers and, place value dice.

Jane Felling is the co-author of the award winning Box Cars and One-Eyed Jacks math and literacy series and has been an international speaker for the past 25 years. She has provided workshops in the area of using games as a teaching strategy to thousands of teachers and school districts across North America and has taught students from K - grade 9 as part of her contracts. She has been a featured and invited speaker at the National ASCD several times as well as spoken at the past 20 national NCTM's, and regionals. Jane completed her masters in the area of games as a teaching strategy and is passionate about engaging all learners - teachers and students alike. Over the past two years, Jane has written and published 4 new resources.
