How do we use the information from the ESL Benchmarks to plan for meaningful instruction that will keep learning moving forward?
In this session, we will examine what kind of data can be accessed from the benchmarks, how to plan for success in multi-level classrooms and how to use informal assessments to inform our daily practice. The afternoon will provide time to work with your information and develop plans that meet the needs of your students, with coaches available for elbow to elbow support. For this portion of the afternoon please bring any data, units or information that you may want to use to incorporate benchmark instructional strategies into your instruction.
