Connie Wood
Connie Wood earned a B. Ed. from the University of Alberta and taught English language arts at the J. A. Williams High School (JAWS) in Lac La Biche, AB. She has also taught high school-level English courses in the Adult Upgrading program at Portage College in Lac La Biche. After earning a M.Ed. in Educational Psychology from the University of Alberta, Connie began counselling high school students with personal as well as academic difficulties. She registered as a Provisional Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists and began doing psycho-educational testing and assessment as staff psychologist for Northern Lights School Division (NLSD). She became a Registered Psychologist in 2007 and provided assessment, consultation, and educational services to staff and students throughout NLSD until her retirement in June, 2014. Connie is currently very pleased to be working for Randall Symes Psychological Services and enjoys visiting new schools, leading workshops, and working with staff and students of all ages from across Alberta.
