The adolescent brain is a paradox. Measures of intelligence show that most teens reach the pinnacle of IQ during this time, yet teens are notorious for making poor decisions. We will explore the neuroscience of adolescent brain development and behaviour and introduce a play program that shows promise in building executive function skills during this important phase of neuroplasticity.
