Are you looking to improve your students’ writing? Join author and educator, Karen Filewych—How Do I Get Them To Write? and Freewriting With Purpose—for this empowering three-part series. Leave each session with practical ideas to empower you to teach your students to write with both clarity and artistry. Teachers and students will begin to welcome their writing time! Session one will focus on breaking down the barriers and motivating students to write. Session two will address the teaching of skills through mentor texts and mini-lessons, including the process of revision. Session three will focus on meaningful feedback and assessment. The new ELAL curriculum will be referenced throughout.
